Selena Gomez took to Facebook earlier this evening for a special message for her fans.
“Belated Merry Christmas everybody.. I can’t thank you enough for all
of your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every one of you.. I love
you all so much and we hope you and your family had a beautiful
Christmas!” the 19-year-old musician/actress wrote on her wall.
She added at the end, debuting her would-be sister’s name, “Love, Me, Momma [Mandy], Brian and our guardian angel Scarlett. God bless.”

The duo sat down with a table of reporters to chat about the ending of their hit Disney Channel show.
When we asked about a possible reunion 10 years down the line, David and Selena both had interesting responses.
“You want to watch us old?” David joked. Selena chimed in, “I’d love to do a reunion movie [down the road].”

and her family received some sad news over the weekend, causing the
19-year-old musician to cancel two appearances during the holiday
season. GossipCop reports that Selena’s mother, Mandy, has suffered a miscarriage. Selena broke the news earlier this year that her mom and stepdad Brian were expecting a baby on Twitter.
“My mommy’s carrying my baby brother or sister :) I’m the happiest girl in the world!” she wrote.

The 19-year-old musician performed a full set list, including “Hit The Lights” and “Who Says”, for the packed crowds.
Just before the concert, Selena held a meet-and-greet with her fans. Everyone went away with a hug!
As a UNICEF ambassador, Selena posted her charity pick for gifts on UNICEF’s website.

New Year’s Eve Special and am excited to be co-hosting it with Demi Lovato. I love the performances and there are some great acts lined up this year.”
So who are the performances? Selena Gomez, J Cole, Jason Derulo and Mac Miller will hit the stage to ring in the new year. Demi added, “I’m so excited to ring in the new year
in Times Square with MTV as well as share the stage with friends and
amazing musicians.” Katie Leclerc and Vanessa Marano will also stop by to say goodbye to 2011. NYE in NYC 2012, from Times Square, will air LIVE on Saturday, December 31st @ 11PM ET/PT on MTV.

The 19-year-old actress/singer took the stage in ruby red heels and a mini-Santa like outfit. So cute! Sel shared on the stage, “One of my inspirations is Katy Perry. She’s been really wonderful and really good as a person to me. She’s given me two songs of hers so, in honor of Katy, we wanted to do this song for her.”
